Warrior's first opponent, USC, ranked No. 3 in preseason football poll

Southern California, the University of Hawaii's season-opening football opponent, is No. 3 in the preseason USA Today Coaches' poll released today.

The Trojans, who play UH Sept. 1 in the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, received 19 first-place votes and were ranked behind Louisiana State and Alabama.

Boise State, of the Mountain West Conference, is ranked No. 22.

Really? Whatever the spread? High spread games are hard to predict because you won't know exactly when the blow out team is going to pull all their first stringers. But this is the first game ofthe season, so I can see them wanting to leave their players in for a good 3 quarters or so to get everything together.
