Police arrest man after bottle-throwing incident at bar

Police arrested a 22-year-old Pearl City man early this morning after he got into an argument with a bar employee and allegedly threw a bottle at her face.

Police said the argument began at 1:10 a.m. at a Pearl City bar and escalated when the suspect threw a bottle at a bar employee. The employee suffered minor injuries, but refused treatment.

Officers arrested the suspect at the Pearl City police station on suspicion of second-degree assault.

Police did not name the bar where the incident happened.
