A Crestview man was being held after allegedly throwing objects onto a moving vehicle on H-1 Freeway carrying a woman with whom he once had a domestic relationship.

Police said that after the woman, 27, left work in Waipahu and got into a truck driven by another man about 4:35 p.m. Thursday, the 31-year-old man began following the truck with his own vehicle.

While traveling eastbound on H-1 near the Kaonohi overpass, the suspect allegedly began throwing objects at the truck, breaking two windows.

Solo bike officers stopped and arrested the suspect at Puuloa Road and Salt Lake Boulevard a short time later. He is being held pending charges of criminal property damage and violating a protective order placed against him by the woman. The man is also being held on outstanding warrants.
