By Associated Press

POSTED:

TEMPE, Ariz. >> The Arizona Cardinals signed fullback Reagan Maui’a, a former University of Hawaii running back.

Maui’a, 6-foot and 265 pounds, played in three games last season for the Cardinals after appearing in 15 games and making four starts in 2010. The former University of Hawaii player from American Samoa has four carries for five yards and five catches for 37 yards in 36 career games in three seasons with Miami and Arizona.

Mauia was a sixth-round pick by the Miami Dolphins in 2007. He earned the starting blocking back job in training camp his rookie year, but was one of the final cuts the next year.

He also played for the Cincinnati Bengals in 2008.
