Hawaii County police investigate table theft

Hawaii County police opened a theft investigation into the disappearance of 23 custom aluminum tables in Keaau.

Michigan Tech University officials told police that the tables were taken between July 7 and Aug. 3 from Shipman lands off Highway 130 near the 3-mile marker in Keaau.

Police are asking witnesses or residents with information regarding the crime to call Officer Shawn Tingle at 808-965-2716 or Crime Stoppers at808-961-8300.
