By Star-Advertiser staff

LAST UPDATED: 09:01 a.m. HST, Aug 17, 2012

Board of Water Suply crews completed repairs on a 8-inch water main break at Cooke and Auahi streets in Kakaako overnight.

About 15 businesses were without water Thursday.

Crews replaced the pipe and repaved the roadway. Auahi Street reopened at about 12:30 a.m.

The repair work closed Auahi Street  between Cooke and Koula streets. The two-mauka bound lanes of Cooke Street were closed and the two makai-bound lanes were contraflowed to allow one open lane of traffic in each direction.
