Lanikai man, 35, arrested for allegedly assaulting ex-girlfriend

A 35-year-old Lanikai man was arrested Tuesday morning after allegedly striking his former live-in girlfriend during an argument in Honolulu recently.
The incident occurred about 7:45 a.m. on July 9 and caused the victim, 43, substantial but undisclosed bodily injuries.
The suspect was arrested at Honolulu Circuit Court about 10 a.m. today.
