Vehicle fire briefly closes H-1 freeway lanes

Police closed two right lanes on the H-1 freeway near the Kaamilo Street overpass this morning to investigate a vehicle fire, police said.
Police closed the lanes around 11 a.m. and reopened them less than an hour later.
Capt. James Todd said crews responded to the fire and extinguished it with little difficulty.
Todd said the fire appeared to have started in the car's engine.
