Sophomore hitter Jane Croson had a match-high 21 kills and junior hitter Emily Hartong added 17 as No. 8 Hawaii rallied to down No. 6 Stanford 17-25, 25-23, 25-15, 25-17 and win the title of the Chevron Rainbow Wahine Invitational volleyball tournament at the Stan Sheriff Center Sunday night.
Croson added 11 digs en route to being named to the all-tournament team. She was joined by Hartong, the Most Outsanding Player, and Wahine junior libero Ali Longo. Also on the all-tourney team were Stanford's Carly Wopat and Karissa Cook, Albany's Victoria Stroilo and St. Mary's Kristina Graven.
Freshman middle Jade Vorster added nine kills with no errors in 19 swings for Hawaii (3-0). Longo finished with a match-high 16 digs.
For the Cardinal (2-1), Jordan Burgess had 10 kills.
In the earlier third-place match, St. Mary's (1-2) defeated Albany (0-3) 21-25, 25-22, 25-22, 25-13.
