By Star-Advertiser staff

POSTED:

The Hawaii women's soccer team battled back from a two-goal deficit to take a lead on Drexel, only to settle for a 3-3 tie tonight at Waipio Peninsula Soccer Stadium.

UH (3-1-1) led 3-2 in the waning minutes, but allowed a goal to Drexel (3-1-1) with 11.1 seconds remaining in regulation. Neither team could get a clean look in two 10-minute overtime periods.

The Wahine's eight-game home unbeaten streak is intact heading into Monday's game against BYU-Hawaii.

Alexis Colacchio and Erika "Storm" Nana had their first career goals for the Wahine in the match. Chelsea Miyake notched two assists.
