LAST UPDATED: 01:03 a.m. HST, Sep 02, 2012

Police are looking for a man who allegedly burglarized a Niu Valley home Saturday morning, then hijacked a car from a woman to make his getaway.

The incident started around 11:10 a.m. when the suspect allegedly removed an item from a residence along Kalanianaole Highway east of Niu Valley and was confronted by one of the occupants of the home. After a brief struggle, the suspect fled across the street, where he allegedly confronted a woman getting out of a vehicle, threw the woman to the ground and stole the vehicle.

Police recovered the vehicle nearby but were unable to locate the suspect.

News said, "40's, 5 ft. 10 in., 250 lbs. wearing dark shirt and pants." Nothing about black, white, Asian, Hispanic, Polynesian. So, how they expect us to help? Always the case. The public supposed to figure that out on their own. That's how HPD Crimestoppers described the suspect.

You wanna know why olos? Because if they describe the perp by nationality, then the liberals out there are going to cry and whine about profiling, yada yada yada. And they wonder why it's harder and harder to curb crime....
