Police look for suspect who tried to rob Kalihi store

Police are looking for a man who tried to rob a cashier Wednesday at a mom-and-pop store in Kalihi.
Police said the man entered the store at 2:20 p.m., raised his shirt and displayed a black object in his waistband, then demanded money.
The cashier called for help, and the suspect fled the Mokauea Street store.
No one was injured during the robbery, police said.
