Police seek man who allegedly held roommates at knifepoint

By Star-Advertiser staff

POSTED:

Police are looking for a 24-year-old man who allegedly threatened one of his roommates and held three others at knifepoint Friday afternoon in Kalaeloa.

According to police, the suspect lives with his ex-girlfriend and three other roommates.

Around 3:20 p.m., the suspect got into an argument with one of his roommates, a 23-year-old man, and threatened him with a knife, at which point the roommate left the residence.

The suspect then refused to let the other occupants — three women in their mid-20s — leave, blocking the doorway and threatening them with a knife and a hammer.

The suspect fled when police arrived and has not yet been located.
