A 57-year-old California woman accused of collecting about $398,000 in state disability payments in behalf of her dead father for 21 years is scheduled to plead guilty next month.
Lynsie Katherine Williams of Redlands, Calif., was indicted by a federal grand jury last month on a mail fraud charge accusing her of collecting the payments from 1990 until last year.
The payments, the indictment said, were supposed to be for her father, Edwin David Callison, who worked at the Kauai Humane Society for about three years in the 1970s.
