A 38-year-old Wahiawa man is facing second-degree attempted murder charge after he allegedly slashed and stabbed his roommate Sunday night.
Police said the incident occurred at 8 p.m. in the Wahiawa home that the 45-year-old victim shares with the suspect. The victim’s wife came into the room after hearing a commotion. The suspect fled from the home, but was located by police an hour later and arrested on suspicion of second-degree attempted murder.
The victim was taken to the Queen’s Medical Center in serious condition with stab wounds to his face, an emergency medical official said.
