Police arrested a 44-year-old Kalihi man Tuesday for repeatedly punching a 45-year-old woman at a Kapiolani bar in July based on several tips given to CrimeStoppers.

In August, police issued a CrimeStoppers alert seeking the public’s help in locating a man wanted for beating the manager of Ellie’s Club until she was unconscious.

Police said the suspect got into an argument with a employee of the club just after midnight on July 8.

The manager intervened and was struck numerous times. She was taken to the hospital in serious condition with numerous facial fractures.

Police arrested the man on suspicion of second-degree assault.
