Suspect in threat case allegedly kicks out windows of police car

A 46-year-old Makiki man, who had been arrested Friday afternoon, allegedly broke the windows on a police car from the inside.

Officers were arresting the man 5:20 p.m. Friday in Makiki on suspicion of second-degree terroristic threatening and resisting arrest for threatening another person, when he was placed inside a police car.

The man then allegedly kicked the door and window several times, shattering the window and damaging the door frame, police said.

For damaging the police vehicle, police also arrested him on suspicion of second-degree criminal property damage.
