Police arrest man for allegedly trying to cash forged check

A 34-year-old man was arrested early this morning for allegedly trying to cash a forged check with an altered identification card.

Police said the suspect went to the Keeaumoku Walmart’s service center at 2:15 a.m. and tried to cash the forged check.

He was arrested on suspicion of second and first-degree forgery and unauthorized possession of confidential information.
