Firefighters on Kauai have contained a brush fire that broke out Thursday in Hanapepe Valley.
The fire, of uncertain size, started about 2:30 p.m. and drew three engine companies, two trucks, a rescue unit and the Air 1 helicopter.
There were no immediate threats to any structures and no injuries reported, the Kauai Fire Department said in a news release.
Crews have finished for the evening, but will return tomorrow to put out any hot spots, the department said.
