Pomai Recca had nine kills and Alohi Robins-Hardy had 17 assists as No. 2 Kamehameha upset top-ranked Punahou 28-26, 29-27 on Friday night at Hemmeter Fieldhouse.
Both teams now stand at 9-1 in the Interscholastic League of Honolulu. They will rematch for the ILH first-round title and a state berth, at Kamehameha on Monday.
Carly Kan led the Buffanblu with 12 kills, while Tayler Higgins had 21 assists in the loss.
