Army officials gave the all-clear at 4:29 p.m. Thursday after an investigating into a bomb threat at Schofield Barracks this afternoon turned up nothing.

Someone had made a phone call at 12:40 p.m., saying there was a bomb in the area of C-Quad at Schofield Barracks, the Army said.

Macomb Gate was closed and motorists were advised to stay clear of the C-Quad area, on Waianae Avenue on base parallel to Wilikina Drive. Macomb Gate has been reopened.

Army law enforcement personnel and Explosive Ordnance Disposal personnel searched the area.

The military is continuing to investigate the incident.
