Expect voggy skies and humid kona weather through Tuesday, National Weather Service forecasters say.
A weather system northwest of the islands has cut off the normal, cooling trade wind flow and is bringing southerly winds to the state.
The weather conditions also mean a chance of afternoon showers developing.
The trade winds should return Wednesday.
