Police arrest Waianae man for allegedly picking fight at school

By Star-Advertiser staff

LAST UPDATED: 06:43 a.m. HST, Oct 12, 2012

A 49-year-old Waianae man was arrested Wednesday morning after he allegedly threatened an official at a Farrington Highway charter school who told him to move his car because it was blocking traffic at the elementary school’s drop-off lane.

Police said the suspect had just dropped off a child at the school at 7:20 a.m. when he was told to park his car on the side the road. The suspect became upset and threatened the school official, police said.

According to police, the suspect then allegedly got out his car and challenged the school official to a fight.

Arriving police officers arrested the man on suspicion of first-degree terroristic threatening.

Here's a "punk" trying to pick a fight with a school official who he knows he's not gonna get it. I think he should go to a mma gym and check that attitude so he learn some respect and may be attitude adjustment.

This is what Hawaii has become. A state full of punks, druggies and really money strapped stressed out people. Its so easy now to get into an argument with someone. It happens in the stores, on the street and on the roads. Just gotta walk away because the people initiating the trouble have nothing to lose.
