Police close Kamehameha Highway near Foodland in Laie

Honolulu police have closed Kamehameha Highway in both directions near the Foodland store in Laie because of a traffic accident.
The accident happened at about 4:45 a.m.
Traffic is being re-routed around the area to Laniloa Loop and Hale Laa Boulevard.
Other details on the accident were not immediately available.
