Kamehameha Highway reopens in Laie after car topples utility pole

Police shut down a section of Kamehameha Highway this morning in Laie due to a downed utility pole because of a motor vehicle crash.
The shutdown occurred at 5:05 a.m. in the area of 55-476 Kamehameha Highway, and traffic was rerouted to Laniloa Loop and Hale Laa Boulevard.
No one was injured.
The highway reopened about 6:30 p.m.
