Lifeguards have posted shark warning signs after a confirmed sighting of a “aggressive” 10-foot shark off Nanakuli Beach Park.

A spokeswoman for the city’s Ocean Safety Division said the shark was seen jumping out of the water about 30-yards offshore of the beach this afternoon.

Lifeguards warned the public to stay out of the water through Monday. More information may be posted on the city’s ocean safety website at http://oceansafety.ancl.hawaii.edu/.
