Fire chars condo in Kihei, Maui

A fire that did $1,000 in damage to the exterior of a condominium in south Maui was accidental, fire officials said.
The fire at the Kai Makani in Kihei was being doused by a water hose by police and bystanders when firefighters arrived after receiving the alarm at 12:36 a.m. Sunday.
