Aiea man hospitalized after wife allegedly stabs him

Police have opened an attempted homicide case after a woman allegedly stabbed her husband with a knife early this morning in an Aiea apartment complex.

Police said the incident occurred at about 2:45 a.m. at a Moanalua Road apartment.

The victim, 58, was taken to the hospital by paramedics in serious condition. The man was apparently stabbed multiple times by his wife, police said.

The suspect, 54, was arrested at the scene on 98-245 Moanalua Road at 3:23 a.m. and is being held pending a charge of second-degree attempted murder.
