Woman in serious condition after suffering neck injury

A woman was taken to the hospital this morning in serious condition from the School Street area with wounds to her neck.
The incident occurred just before 8 a.m. on Linapuni street, according to an Emergency Medical Services official.
The victim was treated by paramedics at the scene and then transported to the hospital.
Police officers are interviewing the victim at the hospital to try and determine if she is a stabbing victim.
