Tourist couple found floating on raft 2 miles off Maui

Maui fire personnel rescued a visiting couple who were adrift on an inflatable raft two miles off Maalaea Saturday afternoon.
Ocean Safety Rescue craft 6 with a firefighter on board found the couple two miles off Haycraft Beach Park and brought them safely to shore, the fire department said.
The fire department was alerted at 1:20 p.m.
The fire spokesman said he had no information on where the couple was from.
