Police investigate assault at Pipeline

Police are investigating a complaint by a 24-year-old surfer who said another surfer tried to push him underwater several times at Pipeline Beach Sunday morning.

The victim said he was surfing 50 to 100 feet from shore when a 32-year-old man allegeldy assaulted him and tried to push him underwater.

No arrests have been made following the 11 a.m. incident.
