Police arrest Waianae man after he crashes car into own home

By Star-Advertiser staff

POSTED:

An argument between a Waianae couple ended up with the man driving a car into the couple’s home.

Police said the argument between a 50-year-old man and a 51-year-old woman began Tuesday afternoon with the suspect taking the woman’s car without permission. When the suspect returned, he allegedly drove the car into the Waianae home and then fled. The victim called police who were examining the damage when the suspect returned again.

When police tried to talk to the suspect, he again fled, but crashed the car for the second time.

The suspect was arrested on suspicion of auto theft, criminal property damage, driving without a license, contempt and other violations.
