Regents begin annual evaluation of UH's Greenwood next week

By Star-Advertiser staff

LAST UPDATED: 05:48 p.m. HST, Nov 09, 2012

The University of Hawaii Board of Regents will begin its annual evaluation of UH President M.R.C. Greenwood at its monthly meeting next week on Maui.

The regents are also scheduled to continue their closed-door discussion on Greenwood’s future at the university.

Both items are on the executive session agenda for the Nov. 15 meeting at UH Maui College.

The regents will also release a task group report on the failed Stevie Wonder concert. The report, prepared by the accounting firm of KMH LLP under a $50,000 contract, is expected to look at the accounting procedures and controls at the athletic department and UH system to see if procedures were violated and if changes need to be made to prevent a similar incident from happening again.

According to the meeting agenda, the regents will also look at an undocumented immigrant policy proposal and policies on mandatory student fees.

Fire Greenwood & Apple. If I (we) were to pull this kind of stunt(s) at our job(s), I (we) would get fired. I (we) have lost total respect for Dan. Dan, you need to be put in a retirement home.

I know this isn't going to come across right because a person shouldn't be judged by their looks, but she looks like someone's grandmother and should have knitting needles in her hands. Having said that, truth should always be the judge. UH should have come across and said, we screwed up, had a con artist work on us and then we called in the FBI----rather than paying 100's of thousands of taxpayer dollars on consultants and attorneys to cover it up. Like everything else, one asks who's in charge??? The bucks in this case, lots of them, stops here!!!

There's also the matter of stonewalling and inconsistent stories to consider.
