Man critically injured in Punchbowl stabbing; police detain 2 men

A man in his 40s was critically injured in the Punchbowl area Friday night after he was stabbed, an Emergency Medical Services official said..
Police said two men were identified and detained in connection with the stabbing that occurred about 9:15 p.m. on Prospect Street.
The victim was taken by ambulance to the Queen's Medical Center in critical condition.
