Power restored for 1,400 Hawaiian Electric customers in Makaha

About 1,400 electricity customers in Makaha were without power for more than an hour this morning.

The outage occurred at 6:10 a.m. and power was restored at about 7:45 a.m., according to Hawaiian Electric Co. spokesman Darren Pai.

The cause of the outage is under investigation.
