By Star-Advertiser staff

POSTED:

The Kauai Department of Water is asking customers in the Hanapepe and Eleele areas to limit water use to essential needs from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday due to limited water supply.

That is because work crews will tie in a replacement pipeline to a segment of the Hanapepe Valley transmission line.

For more information,  call the Department of Water at 245-5461 during business hours, 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. For emergencies after business hours, call police dispatch at 241-1711.
