Kapolei man arrested for allegedly abusing teen, woman

Police arrested a 38-year-old Kapolei man today for allegedly trying to strangle an 18-year-old man and throwing his 38-year-old mother to the ground on Oct. 25.

Police arrested the man today on suspicion of felony abuse of a family or household member and misdemeanor abuse.

The man got into an argument with the young man and allegedly punched him several times and restricted his breathing, police said. He then allegedly threw the woman to the ground when she intervened, injuring her knee, police said.
