Honolulu police have reopened Kamehameha Highway in Mililani after crews finished cleaning an oil spill left after a traffic accident.

Police said an oily substance was left on the wet roadway after a crash near Lanikuahana Avenue at about 3 a.m. One vehicle spun out due to the oily patch despite traffic being contraflowed around the area, according to Hawaii News Now.

The road is being contra-flowed between Lanikuahana and Ka Uka Boulevard.
