Police search for man who fired shots at Waianae home

Police are looking for a man who fired several shots into the walls of a Waianae home Thursday night, endangering the lives of four people, including a four-year-old boy.

The incident occurred before 7:20 p.m.

Police said the suspect approached the Waianae home asking about a dog. The suspect then took out a firearm and starting shooting at the walls of the house.

No description was released of the suspect who police say is now being investigated for four counts of attempted murder.

Besides the boy, two men — ages 51 and 32 — and a 30-year-old woman were in the building at the time of the shooting.
