ABC decided today that the Hawaii-based drama "Last Resort" will not go any further than the 13-episode season originally ordered.

The series, which aired its seventh episode Thursday night, had struggled in the ratings each week and drew a series low 5.68 million viewers this week.

Three episodes are scheduled currently: Nov. 29 and Dec. 6 and 13.

Too bad, it was not that bad a show in terms of acting and tension. But it was the type of show that would have almost been impossible to keep up long-term, I sometimes think serial dramas should just tell networks, give me two years so they can construct a nice tight story and screenplay.

Oh man, that was a really interesting show. Suspense, action, drama... good actors and good show. It was neat watching the characters evolve from show to show. I hope they can at least figure out a way in the last show to wrap everything up and not leave us all hanging. Sad day in Hawaii.

At least ir was a TV show that lived up to its title, "Last Resort." Thank goodness that it will be gone.

Why thank goodness? Do you realize that the show shutting down hurts the economy?

I couldn't follow the plot. Too many characters all dressed alike. I couldn't remember who was who except the black guy. They were always mad or sad... too bad. Bye bye jobs jobs jobs.
