Waipahu couple arrested in Aiea bank robbery

A Waipahu couple is behind bars after allegedly robbing the Aiea Territorial Savings Bank on Wednesday afternoon.
Police said a weapon was used in the 1:15 p.m. stickup, but did not release a description. The suspects, a 19-year-old woman and a 27-year-old man, were arrested on suspicion of first-degree robbery in Waipahu seven hours after the holdup.
The amount of money taken was not released.
