Voggy conditions to return later this week, forecasters say

The rain that is greeting Oahu commuters this morning is expected to dissipate today, but the forecast for the week calls for the return of voggy conditions.

National Weather Service forecasters said this morning’s rain should remain light but “a brief localized downpour is possible especially over the mountains.”

Breezy trade-wind weather is expected through Wednesday, but southeasterly winds are forecast starting late Wednesday through the rest of the week, bringing hazy conditions that may last through the weekend, they said.
