Warning sirens to sound in 5 areas for testing

Hawaii Civil Defense officials will test sirens today at Diamond Head lighthouse, Kapahulu Library, Dole Street, Kewalo Basin and Makiki District Park from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Residents might hear the sirens sound for 30 seconds. Technicians will use data from these tests to verify operational status and maintenance actions.
