Trio allegedly attack victim and his car in Kalihi

An argument outside a Kalihi restaurant led to an attack on a 31-year-old man by three suspects, who also damaged the victim's car, police said.

Officers arrested two suspects, a 16-year-old boy and a 22-year-old woman and were looking for a third man in connection with the Saturday morning incident.

Police said the 22-year-old woman and a the victim argued at 8 a.m. Saturday at the unidentified Kalihi restaurant, when the 16-year-old suspect hit the victim with a dangerous instrument.

The 22-year-old suspect then damaged the victim's car and chased the victim in his car, while a third suspect struck the vehicle with another "dangerous object," injuring the victim, police said.

Officers arrested the 22-year-old and 16-year-old without incident about an hour later.
