Gold takes top spot at HMSA

Michael Gold is the new CEO at the Hawaii Medical Service Association, the company announced this morning.
Gold has served as the company’s president since April and had served as chief operating officer for the past 15 years as part of his 38-year career at HMSA.
He is credited with leading the company’s efforts this year to meet the provisions of the Affordable Care Act.
