Incarcerated Manoa man charged with kidnapping

Police have charged a 34-year-old man in connection with a kidnapping on Nov. 28.
Dexter Smith, of Manoa, who already is being detained at Oahu Community Correctional Center, was being held on $50,000 bail after being charged with kidnapping Wednesday morning.
Police said that a woman, 50, was attacked and held against her will by the suspect somewhere in Honolulu. She sustained undisclosed injuries.
No other details were immediately available.
