Facebook for Android 2.0 gets big boost

Apple iPhone users have one less thing to brag about as Facebook released the latest update for its Android smartphone app today.
Like the iOS version released in August, the Android app is a ground-up rebuild using native code instead of HTML5. Users should see performance roughly twice as fast.
Android smartphone owners can download the latest version of the Facebook app from the Play store here.
