The Honolulu Board of Water Supply restored service to affected customers in Kalihi after crews finished repairs to the broken water main on N. Vineyard Boulevard. The two Diamond Head-bound lanes of N. Vineyard Boulevard between Palama Street and Pua Lane, which were closed until road repairs were completed, have been reopened.

A break in the 12-inch water main at 709 N. Vineyard Blvd. was reported at 11:30 p.m. Friday, BWS officials said. Approximately eight customers were affected and water wagons were dispatched.

Water service was restored to affected customers at approximately 7:00 a.m.
