Two boys, 12 and 14, were taken to a trauma center in serious but stable condition after they were ejected from the back of a pickup truck involved in a two-car crash in Nanakuli this morning, Emergency Medical Services said.

Two 17-year-olds from the second vehicle were also transported in serious but stable condition.

The crash occurred around 10:30 a.m. near the intersection of Farrington Highway and Auyong Homestead Road, near the Nanakuli 7-Eleven store.

Police said one lane of the highway was closed to investigate the crash but were unsure how long the lane would be closed.

Well, the back of the pick truck meant for cargoes. You ride at the back of the pick up truck without a seatbelt and cops won't bother to stop you for a ticket. But if you seat in the front without a seatbelt you will be the ticket. Can anyone give me an answer please? Or my simple opinion is our law makers are bunch of idiots?
