The Medical Examiner’s office said that the 73-year-old Pearl City man, who was reported missing earlier this month, drowned in Lake Wilson.

The body of Melvin Kunimitsu was found Dec. 10 in Lake Wilson.

Kunimitsu was reported missing Dec. 7.

Kunimitsu was reportedly driving a gold-colored Toyota Camry sedan that was found abandoned on Dec. 8 at the entrance into Wahiawa town. Kunimitsu was suffering from a medical condition that may have caused him to become confused and disoriented, according to police.
